I don’t require or expect perfect clothing or a pristine house, what matters most is that your space feels like you. My newborn photography is all about capturing real, everyday moments in the place where your family feels most comfortable.

While it’s natural to want to look your best, I encourage you to take the pressure off and simply enjoy the experience. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and I will guide you in a way that feels natural and flattering.
Supportive Guidance for New Parents
If you look closely at my work, you’ll notice I photograph quite closely and intentionally, so if you’re feeling self‑conscious in any way, I have gentle ways of disguising that. As a mother of three, I understand the early days of motherhood can be both exhausting and precious. This experience and understanding shapes how I approach my newborn photography sessions, aiming to make them as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
A Baby‑Led, Stress‑Free Session
Flexible Session Length
All Newborn Photography sessions will take between 1 and 2 hours depending on the baby's needs and whether there are siblings involved. There is never any time pressure from me.
Following Your Baby’s Rhythm
Babies can be unpredictable, and that’s completely normal. We let the baby lead the session so if they need feeding, soothing, or a break that must be done. Older babies are also more curious, which can also extend the session slightly. The goal is always the same, a calm, baby‑led experience that results in natural, heartfelt images you’ll treasure for years to come.
Including Siblings & Grandparents
If you’d like to include siblings or grandparents, just let me know in advance. These connections add beautiful layers to your story.
Cuddles, Snuggles & Love
My Newborn Photography sessions are all about the snuggles, the contact, the emotion and the love. They are about you becoming a new Mum or Dad and about the siblings and even the dog. Its time to wrap up on the couch, snuggle with your baby and create together a collection images that, I promise you, you will love forever.

when to Book Your Newborn Photography Session
Before your baby is here, you can contact me to semi arrange the date, ideally within the first 2 weeks of life, but this is not totally necessary. Babies 2 weeks and younger are more sleepy, are generally more settled and their skin is more perfect. Its also a nice time to capture how small they are and also them at their youngest. Older babies have allowed Mum to ‘get over the birth’ somewhat better so whatever works for you, works for me. Older babies can be a little fusier.

After Your Newborn Session — What Happens Next
Editing & Gallery Delivery
Your images are carefully selected, artistically edited, and presented in a private online gallery. Delivery is typically 2–3 weeks after your session.
Choosing Your Collection
You can choose from albums, framed prints, or a mix of both.
Every product purchased includes the matching digital image complimentary.
You receive a print licence to print and share your images.
I retain full copyright.
What about my home?
Please don't fret over the house. A lived‑in home is perfect. I photograph closely and intentionally, focusing on connection, not clutter. Have one room ready, the living room or the bedroom but don't be organising the house from top to toe, I won't be photographing in the hall or the kitchen most likely so don't be stressed out about impressing me. I too am a mother of 3, and I know what home life looks like. Your home will be in the background of course, but please don't be putting unnecessary pressure on yourself.
when do we do the session?
I do all my baby sessions in the morning, 10am, usually.. This way we get the most quiet time out of the baby and they usually are more sleepy. The morning is the best time also as babies are more settled in the mornings. Please don't over stimulate your baby so that they will sleep during the session, just let their ‘routine’ be as normal. They will stress if you stress so everything needs to be as normal as possible.
how do i present myself?
Wear loose comfortable clothing. I know mothers are tummy conscious in the first few months especially, I have 3 of my own remember, so I am aware of this. I am conscious of this. I photograph quite close, so I generally hide the tummy area entirely. Wear what you are yourself in also, dont be ‘styling’ yourself as ‘someone else’. Be yourself.
Do you can i wear fake tan?
I can warm you up but I can't cool you down. Well I can but I won't. Apart from it adding to my workload, streaks and marks are impossible to get right in post editing so I'd prefer you to leave it off altogether please. Your baby will be an entirely different tone in the images and it wont look right. I shoot in a warm tone anyway so you will be warmer than you are in real life anyway. Your partner/ husband will also be entirely different so that makes it more difficult to get right. If you do wear tan, I will not spend hours r etoning you.
